We all knew this day was coming but didn’t know exactly when. The day finally came this morning and the FDIC had taken over it then sold everything over to Chase. A quick and smooth transaction. Lucky for everyone who banks with WaMu, Chase assumed all deposits so that no one had to lose anything from the deal. Better than what happened with those people down at Indymac Bank.

So which bank is next? I predict that when this is all said and done, only three banks will remain: Bank of America, Chase and Wells Fargo.

So I was all talking about riding it out at my house but then I decided I was too scared. So I ended up evacuating out to San Antonio on Friday. Fortunately, the traffic was not bad at all on the way out of town. I made it here in about 4.5 hours I’d say. There were some slow spots but it would come and go and wasn’t bad at all.

Nothing like the Gridlock that was Rita. I am going back to Houston on Sunday Morning. I am so bored over here but it will be okay. Everything is okay over there but there is no power. We shall see how long it takes for the power to come back on.

Yesterday, they really had no idea where Ike was headed, but now the center of where they are suggesting is almost a dead on hit with Galveston. I’m hoping it won’t be bad if it comes here. I’m so ready for the hurricane season to be over so I can stop worrying about the storms.

1900: The year the McCain/Palin duo will take us back to.

My partner and I were in Wal-Mart, of all places, in the check out line turning all the magazines, with Palin on the cover, backwards. There was a lady standing behind us and she was like, “So, you guys trying to make a statement?” Of course we were. She responded “I agree with you.” This is a Wal-Mart shopper who doesn’t like Palin. And remember, we are in Texas.

My grocery store friend then agreed with us that the choice of Palin is patronizing to women. John McCain chose her, rather than a more experienced Republican, just to try and get women to vote for him. Sarah Palin is a crazy woman who supports Alaska breaking off into its own country. How can you say “Country First” when you support your own State’s secession?

And then, Palin has the audacity to say she will not speak to the media until we give her the respect and “deference” she deserves. Respect is earned, not doled out for free. I guess she just wants us to bow down to her, but she can dream on.

Come on McCain/Palin. Answer the tough questions. How are you going to deal with this crumbling economy? When the economy falls apart, how are you going to pay to defend the county? It takes money to power this operation.

McCain/Palin and Bush/Cheney are equals. McCain is bound to die in office. He’s so old. You are voting for Palin, not him. You better check her history. She’s one crazy mofo!

That America is falling apart. This whole Mortgage Crisis is really turning out to be a continuing problem. Banks are still failing; 11 so far this year. It’s looking like Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae are going to take a lot of money from the Government to stay afloat. Believe me, I’m all for the Government saving people from losing their home, but someone, somewhere, needs to pay for this catastrophe.

If you are for the Government not doing anything with private matters, millions of Americans would probably be losing their homes. This is going to be a very expensive lesson, but hopefully lenders will learn a valuable lesson during the time. Those variable rate mortgages should be illegal. It’s bad enough when your credit card rate goes up, let alone a loan over 100,000 for 30 years.

We’ve yet to see the end of bank closure and the Mortgage Crisis for this year. With Freddie and Fannie in trouble, we’ve just hit the tip. If they can’t make it, we’re in for a world of hurt.

What is wrong with you?

It sure feels like we are going backwards in this world. This seems to be going on with every group of people but I’m going to focus on the gays and the women. Homosexuals and Women have fought for many years to better themselves but it sure looks like the new generations are just ready to give up all that and go back to square one.

Women: Through 70s and 80s, women really pressed for their rights. The right to choose. The right to vote. So many things that women did not have and finally were able to get. They fought to prove that they don’t need to have a man to take care of them. Women were finally doing well for themselves and proving to the world that they didn’t need men to help them along their way.

But now, we have all these teenage girls who want to get pregnant and be married in their teens. They want a man that is going to pay their bills and take care of em. So much for wanting to be that independent woman their parents and grandparents fought for. Why would you stop fighting for your rights? Do you want to be dependent on men? Just a house wife again? Women deserve better and should demand it. Where is my Rosie the Riveter?

Homosexuals: What’s going on, guys?! I thought we were done with the AIDS crisis but apparently my amigos who love to hit the clubs don’t understand the risks they take. The homosexuals were known for promiscuity and carelessness with the AIDS crisis back in the 80s and finally got that mess under control coming through the 90s. Now though, it seems like we’re headed back to the 80s again.

Why are we letting this happen? Isn’t there someone out there that can just slap this new generation and go “WAKE UP!”? We need to wake up guys. AIDS is real; there is no cure. Do you want to die that painful death? Ok, so maybe you do. I don’t know why, but maybe someone wants to.

Isn’t it time that the faggots stop giving the normal homosexuals a bad name? Can’t you guys just stop having all your crazy bareback sex and settle down with one guy? Or at least fuck the same guy all the time! Please, for the love of all things holy, be safe out there. It makes me scared to think that maybe someone I know could get it. I don’t want to see anyone close to me go like that.
